What Constitutes a Tree Emergency
A tree or large limb has fallen. Fallen wood may block a driveway, walkway, entrance, or another area needed for safe access to the property.
A major branch is cracked or hanging. A partly attached limb over a home, vehicle, walkway, or neighboring property may require prompt assessment.
The tree changed suddenly. A new lean, lifted root plate, split trunk, or major storm damage can indicate that the tree’s stability has changed.
The tree is near damaged power lines. Do not approach a tree or branch touching a power line. If there is immediate danger, call 911. Report other vegetation hazards near electric equipment according to PG&E’s trees and power lines guidance.

Depending on the condition, the plan may involve removing a failed limb, reducing unstable weight, or arranging controlled removal. If the condition is not urgent, you can schedule corrective work instead.
Cleanup and Next Steps
Debris handling and cleanup are completed according to the agreed scope. If additional pruning, removal, stump grinding, or monitoring is recommended, that work is explained separately.
